These two CDs appear to be part of a "The Columbia House Bands" series, undoubtedly issued by a dedicated collector/historian. It is not limited to recordings for Columbia.

These are the two Ben Selvin volumes. Volume two is better. Both are good.

Recorded between 1929 and 1931.
